Default Bonne or 04+ GP seats in a 97 GP?

I know this isn't a Bonneville-related topic, but you guys all seem to know so much about GM cars that I figure I'll post here first -- GP Club is next.

My girlfriend bought a 97 Grand Prix GT, and I refuse to ride in it. The seats are incredibly uncomfortable. I've sat on a more comfortable curb. Does anybody know if seats from a Bonneville will fit? Or from a 04+ GP? I'm thinking about just pulling one of my seats out and seeing if it'll bolt right in, but I wanted to check to see if anybody has any information before I waste time checking it. Electrical issues are not a problem, I can wire just about anything.

Thanks guys!

i think the seat frame is totally different width wise, i doubt that it will fit, you might get away with a other year GP

also loow at other W bodies, they *should* have the same seat frame dimentions

If you put Bonneville seats in a GP, you'll have NO clearance next to the center console, if it even fits.

check out the 97+ Regal seats. those are really comfortable too, plus, they should fit into your GP.

I checked this out on my sisters 97 gp gt and the bolt pattern and tracks are totally different.

I didn't check the seat width, nor look under the seats to see if the GP track could be bolted right up to the Bonneville seat, but I suspect you've got a big project on your hands if you want to put H-body seats in a W-body.

Like they said ^^^ look for some regal seats (good luck find Graphite seats in a Buick).

After reading some of your suggestions while at work, I ended up pulling in an 01 Regal with bucket seats. WAAAAY more comfortable. But like Marty said, black leather Regal seats are going to be hard to find. This should become an interesting project...anybody have any gray or black Regal seats they wanna sell?
