Default front license plate question

my car never had a bracket to mount the front license plate. i haven't been pulled over for it, but i know people who have, and i'm gonna guess that it'* just a matter of time. so should i just wait till i get pulled over, or should i get a bracket? would a bracket be a dealer part or a junkyard part? suggestions...

I remember someone put their front plate below the bumper between the fogs. Don't know who though.

theproblem with trying to get one from the wreckers is that if it iis attached to a good bumper they won't want to separate it. that is what i ran into. i finally got fed up reattaching the plate ( it was just screwed in to the bumper with 2 screws) and thru it in the trunk. i figure if the cops stop me i will just tell them if fell off a couple days ago and i will put it on. i've been without the front plate for a good half a year now and haven't been stopped yet!

Move to PA, where you dont need front plates. They figure Pedestrians can only see tthe back plate after you hit them, I cant believe GM didnt put front plate holes in some models. Check around though, I have seen front plate holders that screw on from the botton so you dont mess up the front on the bumper.
