Default Found at a local BuyHere PayHere 93 SSEI

Cruising the main drag this AM running more errands with my boy, his eagle eye spotted a 1993 SSEI with the gold wheels, green paint and gold trim at a buyherepayhere style car lot. Being Sunday, we pulled in. He said, "this looks like the modded one from the internet" (Bills) So as him and I are walking around it, ooohhhing and ahhhing, casting rejecting glances at our faded totally stock 90 LE, thinking of how long we could go without food and AC to pay for this, we noticed a 96 SE beside it. A little nicer, little newer, but that SSEI had us hooked

I would love a newer one, but I just sold my new car to try and get outta debt, and buying from a BuyHere PayHere probably wont get a real solid ride.

Anyways, seems there are still plenty of 92-99'* out there to be had

an SSE/i with gold or any trim besides black is unheard of factory, I don't know if BuyherePayhere is the best choice.....

Depending on how the LE runs I'd say hold out as much as you can or come back at tax time BHPH are know for there Rediculous Interest Rates like 25% and up a car sold there might go for 5,500 and in reality only worth 1,500 maybe, so your more than likely getting stuck with something not worth the heart ache, SSEi'* have a lot more matainece than thier counterparts,

Consider (if your actually going to buy)
did the previous owners use the correct fuel recommended by the manufacturer for maximum performance?

I'd say a SE or SSE would be a better buy just by the car being that old (only if you can't fix yourself) I personally wouldn't do SSEi no older than 98 but SE and SSE I'd pick one up from 90 to 99 easy.

There wasnt a price listed. I will probably not end up buying this one anyways. And I dont think this LE will die anytime soon. My wife'*, on the other hand, has 191k and REALLY showing its age. Hopefully it will last till tax time.

Yeah, I know all too well how the BHPH works, bought the first LE there way back when. Total payments were 3100 bucks, car had a book value of about 2500. Still, I have stacked up right at 100k on it between the 2 of us driving it over the years and it hasnt been too much of a money pit.

This place though, I think is 500 down and payments for life LOL. Not quite my thing anymore.
