Default FOB part number

Does anyone have the part number for a keyless entry FOB for a 96 LeSabre?

Thanks, so if equipped, any for the 96 will work. Since I don't have the original FOB?

If you do in fact have AUO on your label, and you KNOW it'* the original label (match the VIN), all the pieces should be there unless removed at some earlier date. I don't recall ever hearing of a GM RKE reciever dying, so your odds are pretty good. Sounds like a good 30 buck gamble to me.

Yeah, I'm going to try the reprogram steps outlined here:

http://programyourremote.com/

If the doors lock and unlock, it will be in program mode and then I'll know if it'* equipped.

I've posted this about 50 times in the last week. Techinfo is your FRIEND.

We KNOW our procedure works. Some out there may not. You may either want to compare our instructions to theirs, or simply use ours for safety'* sake. If you ground the wrong pins, you can smoke your PCM.

The steps on the site and Tech Info are the same.
