I can think of only one member thats cut his off. And cant find the video he posted. Anybody remember the username?

I'd like mine to sound a little more agressive, but I'm not willing to cut a nice welded system apart until the need to. As well the GXP exhaust is performance tuned, by Borla. So I'ma gonna wait for rust to take it'* toll.

I just put super 40 series flowmasters on my 05 gxp. Sounds awesome, it is very loud. Maybe a little bit over kill. I'm almost thinking that I should have put 50 series. The only thing that I don't like is the noise level in the car, however I'm getting used to it. It definantly turns heads. I bought the mufflers and tips from fullline exhaust.com. The 2 mufflers and 4 tips i decided on were 412.00. I had a muffler shop install it and they charged me 100.00 which was a screamin deal, they even admitted that they messed up on the estimate they gave me. These mufflers barley fit under there with the tips I got but very nice in the end.

It'* funny...I've read post where the series 40'* are too loud, I've read others where they aren't loud enough. That'* why it'* so hard to try and explain 'sound' or 'noise' to anyone when helping them select a muffler for their car - everyone'* taste is different, every car has unique differences that make it different as well.

One thing I have heard about the 40 series is that they do take well to larger resonators or dual resonators as far as getting the drone noise out and make the exhaust deeper and barkier (if that makes sense?)
