I suppose the problem with trying to sell a "customized" car is that you will have a difficult time appealing to the general public. You'll never get anywhere near the dollar value back, they won't appreciate it like you do and it loses its appeal.

Leave the exterior stock looking, make the mods under the hood and you'll get something out of it, but to each their own
