Hi Peter,
Glad to see it'* coming back together. I took a look under my car just after this happened to you to check it out, and was pleased to see mine was okay. Can you suggest any preventative maintenance we can perform to prevent this from happening? (ie: Keeping it clean, adding spray undercoating once in a while)

All metal fab is done, I only need to get it all re assembled.
1/4" plating cut and fit..





Welding 'er up



Finish cover plating... with a shim to fill in the gap between it and the 1/4" steel



DIDNT GET PICS TO THE COVER PLATING WELDED IN
after everything was welded up and grund smooth, I covered it with 3M panelbond, which is great for strength and corrotion reisistance



Sanded all that flat and semi smooth. then Epoxi coated it


them I put a rubberised undercoat on it..

Cost wise don't forget my little contribution from this past week! That should cover a bolt or two!
