IMO I dont believe people like to buy the first year of a model that has changed. or even a new model car.
and I know that sales are down .But I think the Bonneville should stick around till 2007 for the big 5 0 celebration I would predict sales to jump.
especially if they keep the 8 cylinder engine.

They need to come out with something big for 2007.

RWD. V8. Mad HP.

That will sell. That'* what the public wants.

Once again one has to wonder about the thinking of the General in Detroit.....amazing, they were expecting 125k in sales of the 'XUV' and made 12,500....what a joke!

GM needs to really overhaul the interiors or else make them basic so that it reflects the materials being used. 40K+ for a new GXP is ridiculous. Someone looking to spend that kind of money for a sedan will be looking at BMW, Cadillac or Merc.Benz, not a Pontiac.

I point you to the new Impala. :P But if they made a RWD for '07, and maybe a 400 or 421 motor?

Another question, why would anyone buy a Bonnie GXP over a GP GXP?

Ya know, it DOES make me wonder why I'm so hung up on the Bonneville... It would be great to have a RWD vehicle. I really don't like this FWD stuff.

But on the other hand, it is a pretty nice car. I keep telling myself I'm going to garage it in the next few years and give it a complete overhaul when I have the money someday. Reading some of this stuff, though, I have to wonder if it'* really worth it to spend the money on a FWD Bonneville when I could customize something like a Firebird, Camaro, or even a Thunderbird. I'm torn between two worlds here! I hope the G8 is a RWD sedan that really grabs my interest, because that would make this choice much easier!
