Well, good luck with it. Hopefully it won't get bought out from under you. That happened to me one time and I was angry. But pics are a must.

This Florida sun here in florida has some massive effects on the exterior of the car... But I think the EZCool class has helped my car stand the test of time on the inside, with the exception of the headliner...LMAO

Got the go-ahead from my mom! WOOHOO! She insists I offer 2 grand, though, being that'* what it books for. I'm hoping to settle somewhere under $2300, being that they're asking $2800 obo right now. Gonna call 'em tomorrow to set up a date for my mechanic to take a look at it. In the meantime, though, I need to run off a Carfax report. Anybody got an open account I could run a report off of? I'd really appreciate it Anyway, here'* hoping; wish me luck!

Kyle, not sure if Florida cars suffer the same as NE cars. But here'* a little something to consider. The car hasn't moved, most if it'* life it hasn't really earned an oil change a year.
Bushing, bearing and all wear item rubber/other parts have sat at rest in one spot for long periods of time. When you hop in and start piling on the mileage it is possible a bunch of things will go quickly. It doesn't detract from the car, but prepare for it.
I tend to prefer picking up higher mileage (I do mean HIGHER) than lower if they are old. It means they were always moving and everything is lubed up/or worn in.
Change all the fluids just on basis of age, especially the tranny fluid.

Well, I'm not going to be putting that much mileage on it. I've had my Bonne for about a year and a half, and I've only put on about 8k miles. Mind you, when I go off to college, things will change, but for the most part it'* not going to be seeing a drastic increase in annual mileage over what it'* getting now. I do plan to change the fluids, though. What should have been changed and replaced at this point, anyone know? I believe they said it had gone through two alternators, but that'* about all I remember...
They did say they had service records, too. Maybe I should look at those...
BTW, anyone have an open Carfax account I could run a report off of? I'm gonna need one for this car...
