Default FINALLY! THE (mostly) PERFECT CAR! And it got SOLD! F**K!

I found the car! '94 Olds Eighty-Eight, beige w/ tan leather, with only 62k miles on her, for $2800 obo ! Went to go look at her today; VERY impressed! Paint is faded and scratched, side mirrors need repainting, power recline doesn't work (probably a switch, as the rest of the seat controls worked fine), and the passenger window works intermittently. Oh yeah, and the retard who put in the aftermarket tint accidentally ripped the felt on the rear window pillars putting the tint on the back window. The rear driver'* side window also has the tint bubbling up. That'* all I could spot that was wrong with the car, other than some mold or fading on the plastic trim pieces. Was told the car was bought in '94 by current owner with 12k on the odo, and in the 10+ years since she'* only put 50k miles on the car in little trips around town! And if all that wasn't enough, I found out that they've used leather treatment on the seats since they got it. Nice and supple, with minimal wear on the driver'* seat The rest of the car? Might as well be a new car; it'* THAT clean So excited, so VERY, very excited...

God, please don't let this car get sold out from under me!!!

Only thing I have to worry about is whether my mom will let me get it, whether or not there are any hidden problems me and my dad didn't spot, and whether or not they'll sell it out from under me to some guy who'll pay them on the spot :? Really worried about the last thing, as is obvious, lol

Gonna see if I can't get it for low 2s. Something around $2200-$2400. And remember now, this is Florida; not near as good a selection of decent H-bodies down here as you guys have up north I mean, sheesh, they're everywhere up there! I know; I checked the Auto Trader site, hehe :P

True, true. She'* got a Series I; that'* what I want. Rock-solid reliable, more so than the Series II, hehe If I have to, I'll pay full, but only as a last resort, say if someone offers her something more than my target price. We'll see; here'* hoping everyone dismisses it because it'* "only" an Olds! I sure hope someone else doesn't ****** it up; I don't think I could take that drastic a range of emotions in such a short period of time :( Wish me luck!

I know that EXACT feeling, infact, I find I'm always looking at cars, test driving and what not. So far I can tell you my next car whenever that might be will probally be an Aurora.

Pictures won't be that spectacular, I have to tell you. I mean, the paint is really faded, and the outside suffers from age, in general. The side mirrors are completely shot paint-wise. But the interior? Hehehe Immaculate, or damn near. It'* actually a little scary, lol...

But, yes, pics will be in order
