Default Fiberglass replacement hood 2000-2005

Like many, I have the aluminum hood mumps at the front of the hood and it is getting worse. E-bay has a vendor selling fiberglass replacement hoods for our Bonnys.

Any thoughts on fiberglass replacement hoods?

Here is a link to an OEM aluminum hood. Are we saying Pontiac sold both aluminum and fiberglass hoods with 00-05 Bonnys?? My guess is GM sold the Bonny'* with aluminum and may have replaced them under warranty with fiberglass because of the paint mumps...
