Not trying to be bias, but I have to say 92 -95.
Reason? My '93 reminds me of a throw back to an old car from the mid 60'* and early '70'*. The rear lights remind me of an old Plymouth Fury, and the rest of the body reminds me of a muscle car. I think this era of Bonneville was the original immitation of great cars from the past. The frowning headlights remind me of my brother'* 1970 Super Bee, very menacing! It just looks like a beast, and I think it scares the young and elderly.
The lines are appealing too. Oh, I want to run out and hug my car right now!!!

Gotta say, I'm still partial to the '87-91 body, but I like the blacked out SSE look vs. my Chromed LE.
That said, the ''92-95 SSE/SSEi is growing on me too, now that I own one. Something about the rear side window profile, odd as that sounds.
The '00+ cars I like, but not as much as the above.
The '96-99 cars look okay, but like any freshening, it'* not as good as the original. It'* trying to be something it'* not, and in my eyes, it turned out more feminine. No offense to those who love them though! Just my opinion.
