EX-wife used to have one. We bought it new in '95 and she drove the heck out of it. Nice little cars ......expensive to upkeep(at the time).

Hope not to offend anyone here, But the Saturn that Krazy kyles dad bought is waaaaay light, so it had better be fast with that 5 speed... But I have seen too many of these use oil like crazy, kill off timming chain tensioners... I new some people once that bought one and it killed 2 engines even before the warranty ran out, they keept it serviced regularly... Somewhere along the line they traded it in...
I have also been to several junkyards, and its hard to find a 1.9 for a saturn around here... All the saturns are stripped out... No engine no trans... Recently my friend had to install 2 transmissions in a 95 saturn I think it was... The only thing I liked about the trans was the tranny oil filter... I thought that was a neat idea.. I'm not a saturn fan in any manner...
And Can someone tell us if the 1.9 is actually a smaller version of a chevy 4 cylinder? Looked like it was set up a lot like a 2.0-2.2 with the exception of OHC or DOHC..?
And the last 2.2 Pushrod engine I remember from GM was a 120 hp, sequential port fuel injection... Had issues with the alluminum head as the car aged or overheated tho..

Kyle, either put intake and exaust on the car you have now or get an L67 powered car if you want speed. When I drive the ol' 93 now it feels like a Civic.

Uh, in the end, I'll take what I can get But, if I have the time and money, those would be welcome upgrades on an L27...
Either way, I'm happy with my car'* current performance. I was just wondering if that little twin-cam Saturn could take the venerable ol' Bonnie
