Default Factory options in the 92 sse

I wanted to know if the 92 sse came with a keyless entry and trunk release remote? And do I go to the dealer to get a repleacement remote? Also i read somewhere that it also comes with a fatory amp, if so where is it located? Also what is the metal off/on switch for below the steering wheel to the left?

yes and yes.. 99% an SSE will have thoes options.FOBs are avail at Ebay or if someone has one for sale...you will only have the factory amp if you have the 8 speaker system..if you do its directly below the radio

Trigga, Pontiac didn't use metal switches on our cars. That'* something you'll have to figure out on your own, or ask the previous owner.

Don't get your remote fobs at the dealer. They'll rape you. Get them off eBay or PM jr's3800.

Check for RPO code "AUO" on your RPO label in the trunk (on the spare tire cover) to make sure you have keyless. Erase any doubt that way.

Do you have the bass gain control 'slider' under the stereo? If not, you don't have the aftermarket amp. If you do, the amp is INSIDE the forward part of the center console under the ashtray. It drives HALF of each rear deck speaker. These are dual voice coil speakers. The HU drives the first coil, and the bass amp (with bandpass filters) runs nothing but bass through the second.

Now, are we having an electrical PROBLEM? Or should this be in General Chat?
