thanks. it was fun to do. Changing the subject real quick, Hey Bugsi, I like the color of your Bonnie, is that just silver in a different light? what color Bonnie is that?

Thanks! It'* the regular silver mist color, but that picture was taken by the light of a setting sun behind me, and a rising full moon behind the Bonneville. You can see the full moon in the picture. Photographs of a full moon with a pocket-sized digital camera make it look much less impressive than the full moon looks to the eye, and of course to expose the photo, the moon gets overexposed and just looks like a white ball. But the setting sun light on it gave it a kind of purpe-ish cast on it, which does look really cool. I had just detailed out my car and took it up to the park at the southern tip of the San Francisco bay, so the background is the Diablo range, part of the Sierras, which runs down the east side of the bay. It'* really quite a stunning view, and I think it made a nice backdrop for the Bonneville!

I really like the silvermist color, in part because it does change colors with the color of the sunlight. It looks particularly weird under a mercury vapor light though.
