Default Extended Warranties

I am in the usedcar business and usually dont push extended warranties. However my Bonneville SSEI will soon be out of warranty and I am wondering about the feasibility of buying an extended warranty. I know that the mark-up is 100%, but I think that I can negotiate a deal. I have never had a car with so many options and expensive options. What is the feeling on such an expense?

I think that extended warranties is just a form of insurance. It'* something really good to have in case anything does go wrong. It'* better to be safe than sorry. Thats my 2 cents.

How good of a do-it-yourself mechanic are you? How hard do you drive the car? Do you have time to work on the car yourself? These are some important factors in deciding whether or not an extended warranty is good for you.
