Default doors

the doors are badly designed and water sits on the ledge and gets into the door locks in both my 1990 and 1996 SSE'*. 1996 isnt bad except in the front door around the trin piece that goes against the window. the seal just goes over top of it and water drips down inside the door.

hrmmm, you seem to be the first person to complain about water issues in the doors....could it be possible that the doors were incorrectly repared at one point?

Having aligned a door for the first time yesterday. It is possible for the alignment to be such on the 96, that the rubber does what you mention.

Can you please add some pictures to help describe the issues you are having.
