I'm going to say that if it does not go before the drags then it wont blow there?

Pulling up hill is harder than draging from a stop on the tranny.

pull the chip for a while? If it has line pressure increase in it then pulling it may take it easy on the tranny until after the meet. Put the chip back in for the drags of course

I'd have to agree with pulling the jet for now, see what'* different.

Otherwise quit spinning them, especially without an LSD, you know better

103k miles. Not bad for the original tranny, considering how I drive.

I'm going to try to troubleshoot this before I pull the Jet. It'* a PITA to get it out of there, I'd like to handle the magic chip as little as possible, and it takes over 100 miles for the PCM to re-learn after it'* put back in.

Any idea what a rebuild on that tranny would cost?

I had the 91s rebuilt (took about a week)... cost was $1250 (Cdn).... but it'* smooth now

A rebuild or a new unit (factory remanufactured) will run in the $2000-$2500 range.
