i bought a used 93 boneville a few months back but im not sure if it is an sse or an ssei.
the placemats, and the side and trunk say ssei, but the front bumber and under the hood the top cloth liner say sse is there ne definitive way to find out

All SSE-SSEi'* have the SSE on the bimper (1992-1999) If you have the SSEi asupercharged badging on the doors, it supercharged. To be on the safe side, look on the dash and see if you have a boost gauge. Look on the shifter and see if you have a perform and normal shift buttons. If you do, your car is an SSEi.

If you have the badges it'* an SSEi..the bumper says SSE on SSE'* and SSEi'*

Open the hood, pull off the engine cover and if there'* a supercharger sitting on top of the motor, you got yourself an SSEi.

Wasnt the supercharger an option on the SSE?

thats what I have Rogue.

Yea you could get a SSE or even an SE with a superchager.... on 93 and up I believe.
(I think in 92 you could only get a SC on the SSEi.... I could be wrong)

92-95 SE'* the bumper just say bonneville. i don't remember what the 96-99 have.

All SSE/i have the words SSE on the bumper and under the hood.

The 96-99 SSE(i)'* don't have SSE under the hood. They don't even have a light under there either. :(
