So the 96 is the series 2 3800 right the same engine I have in my car and u said the 95'* were lighter than the 96'*? I should be about the same as a 96 cause I have the series 2 205hp engine right? I just dont see getting high 8'* being right for a 205 hp car...

you have a 95 L36 Series II 205 hp.....96-99 SE/SLE have a L36 Series II 205hp. Stock for stock you should be slightly faster than a 96, but not by much

you have to remember that these cars weigh 3500+ lbs...that is alot of weight to get going....our motors are built for torque, to get us moving but lack a spectacular top end

Is there any lag in the spedometers in these cars cause i know my friends 99 gtp the HUD digital is instant and the spedo takes doesn't show accurate untill u let er off the floor cause its behind by like a .5 sec or so......could this be the same with my car?
