I need the transmitters, I havent had the luxury of using keyles entery on this car. Does the horn sound when you push the lock button twice? Also can you open the trunk with the transmitter?
Don't know about the earlier years, but I can program different feedback into my stock remote. I have it set up to honk and flash on lock, just flash on unlock.

Also, I have a seperate "Panic Button", and of course a trunk button.

You sure? On mine it'* part of the central locking system (i.e. all doors in addition to the driver'* door). You don't get a separate button to control it, but the flap locks and unlocks along with the passenger doors.

Andy, I think it'* standard on the SSEi. I know one SSE that doesn't have it, so we'd probably have to start a poll to figure this out.

If it'* a separate add-on to the central locking system, it'll probably have its own RPO code, so the poll question should probably be something like "Do you have RPO code <whatever> on the sticker in your trunk?"

Hey, waitaminnit...

(pause to rummage through the TechInfo code listings...)

Found it: Looks like it'* AU1: "lock control, side dr,fuel filler door electric"

Huh... Guess what: it'* not listed on mine, either. In fact, I don't have the general AU0 listing for power locks, either; the only A codes I have are AAA, AK5 and AL7, none of which are relevant.

I'm thinking that they might not list RPO codes for equipment that is standard on that particular model, or which comes within another, larger option package. I haven't checked all my RPO codes to see if it would fall within another code on my sticker.

Maybe you get AU1 on your RPO sticker if you get a lower-level Bonne and then do a special order of specific options including the locking filler cap lid, above and beyond the base package.
