Mine has been rear ended twice. Never damaged anything more than the bumper though.

my first one got rear-ended twice, side-swiped, and then a month after I sold it, it was hit head on by someone crossing the line. Car is apparently still running though and parents have seen it around a couple times, although the front is a rainbow (we repaired all the rear-end and side swipe damage before sale)

There were also a couple bonnevilles in the junkyard here and one of them met a guardrail in the rearend pretty hard if I recall corrent.
