Default Rear ended $2250 damage

Car will be in the shop for 7-10 days. You may not even see the damage unless I told you to look for the split in the bumper or the small dent in the trunk.

But don't forget the energy absorbers in the bumper need to be replaced, and the expensive bumper cover and bar...

No, exhaust is still intact...

Other driver had no insurance... Which means I have to pay the deductible portion, unless he forks over the cash. I have to testify against him in court.

Car will be at the shop for 7-10 days... :(

Dammit... so many drivers driving with-out insurance these days. If I were in your position and had to sue him... I would get as much as I could.

The court date is for criminal purposes, I'm guessing this is not his first ticket. The only thing I could try to do is leverage my appearance in court against the $2250 he owes to me and my insurance.

Sorry to hear about that Fuddy. :?

That just happened to my sister today. Hope that guy covers your deductible too. If not I hope you have a low deductible. Damn drivers.

Too be honest, I wish someone would hit my rear 1/4 panel so I can get my rust fixed quicker

Your insurance company should subrogate against the guy and try to collect your deductible back for you. Hopefully things will work out. When people complain about how much their insurance is....this is a big part of the reason why.
