Actually, the 1992/1993 SSE SC had SSE on the trunk, but the SUPERCHARGED emblem on the door.
Also, in 1998-1999 there was no SSEi. It was an option package on the SSE, per my insurance guy who has been studying these cars with GM data.

Wow!!! That thing opened with a BUY IT NOW option of like $6,500. Now it'* at $6,805.00 and there is almost 3 days left. I bet the sellers are happy.

Food for thought, my SSE has nearly every option, including L67, dual mode transmission, and premium stereo.

All it does not have is traction control, cd player, block heater, and heated windshield. I've seen SSE'* with those options, except a 92 SSE with heated windshield (have seen later SSE'* with it, though). So, right now, I can't think of one thing that an SSEi has that SSE can't (92-95 anyway).

would i be going over the top by saying that one of the differences between SSE/SSEi may be insurance???

See if they can run the VIN # and see if it came w/ the SSEi trim/badge on the buildsheet.

For the most part 92-98 has SSE on the front bumpers on SSE and SSEi. I never seen an SSE or SSEi 99 thiough.
