Could be partly clogged. Just enough that driving is OK, but increase the air flow and it can't move it fast enough.

Going to see if a friend who owns a garage can remove cat and put a "test tube" in. I have 1 1/2 years before my next emissions test.

I am in Ontario Canada, will have to check around here and see if a high flow is available or may have to have one shipped from the US. Do the high flows bolt right in?
