Default Cost of your Bonnie.

How much did everyone give for their bonnie? I gave a measly $800 at a police auction.

I don't quite know. Guy gave it to my dad cause engine was blown. Probably around 1000, cause everything else was in great shape.

Got mine for $7,000 2 years ago. It had 96K miles at the time. Actually I paid about $1000 over the real value...I found out after the fact. The dealership kinda screwed me since I was told it was a "certified pre-owned car" and had a 100 some odd point inspection, etc.

Well after I took it home I noticed it had 3 different kinds of tires on it. The two front ones were Cooper Lifelines, one of the back ones was a Futura 2000 (cheap IMO) and the other was a Dunlop. Plus the Futura had a slow leak in it which they said they fixed but they actually just filled it up to make it look like they did. Plus it had rust bubbles which they should have fixed. It wasn't as bad as I thought...but I was dumb and NEEDED a new car. It was loaded and I loved the color, and the gold wheels.

Luckily I have never had any problems with it machanically. No engine probs that weren't fixed without new plugs and wires, and basically just some minor problems. So I wasn't ripped off that much. And if I didn't get this car I wouldn't have fallen in love with it and therefore would not know that my next car WILL be another Bonne...just a SC this time.

One day I will find one.
