Default Continental Contisport Contact Tires

Anyone run these tires on thier 2K+ Bonneville? The size is 255/45R 17. Here is a link to the tire Rack Website for the tire.

I found a set on Craigslist for $400 OBO. I was considering offering him $350.

The tires are not rated very high but the price seems right.

Well, I don't know anything about these on an 00+ but one of my friends has them and what I know is, they aren't that great for grip on anything, best on dry if anything and they wear out fast. But even at 350, i still don't think its worth it.

Thanks for the feedback. I will keep on looking for another replacement tire. The RSA'* are only good for another 10K.

Tom.. you have another vehicle for bad weather right?

If so..what type of handling/weather are you looking to use the car in?

Bill:
Right now am looking for performance tires to run from April to November. Although this year the weather is kind of messed up. I want to transition over to winter and summer tires and wheels. Thought I would look for a good price on some 20 spokes for winter duty during the upcoming summer months and buy a decent set of winter tires next October.

I knew the Conti'* were not the best tire but the price was right. I will keep looking.

In that case.. you may want to look into the Pirelli'* I picked up some PZero Nero'* for summer on your rim sizing. While they are technically all season, they treated me great last year and were exceptional even under the harsh track conditions.

i think he was upgrading the width

my recommendation for the 255 width would be these.

For the stock size, I HIGHLY recommend these
