this post got me thinking...

so i went at it...

went to home depot and $5.27 later got this...

i took off the trim piece and then i took out the 5 push in hold down thingers...

i took the 2 in foam and stuffed it inbetween the cover and plastic up thing... which was super loose!!

i also took out the bottom 4 push in connectors and put foam inbetween the two pieces

oh of course!!

no need to take off the cover or anything... took me 20 min max...

Very nice job, pal. I'm glad you didn't have to remove the cover. That saves some alignment time. Is the cover tighter now? You mentioned it was really loose.

yeah it doesnt move at all... very firm...

almost starting to bubble up cuz the foam is pushing up...

possible.. pushing up the cover maybe 1/8"...

the foam WILL wear out... get wet.. fall out...ya know how it goes..
