I do believe the pre LN3 motor in the Bonne was the LG3, but I don't know about the V8

so the 1988-1991 bonnevilles with the non series 3800 is the lg3? then why does the rating for members go from SE,SSE, SLE, SSEI, GXP and then LG3? shouldnt LG3 be the lowest?

The LG3 was the first motor, then was replaced by the LN3, which was tweaked into the L27 <series 1>. About the trims, I dunno

I am pretty sure the member ratings go from low trim levels to high trim levels, then to engine types, low to high

Yup it starts at the lowest trim levels and once you get up to GXP it starts on motors. If you notice mine is Northstar (the GXP motor) which I believe is the last rating.

I think the CBN is the final rating to be honest. Only because I have it
