Glad ya found the table of contents

Can you see if there is any easy way to disable them at the switches instead of at the CCR box under the seat?
yes the CCR connector i believe is a separate connector on the 5 button switch pod....remove connector and you are done.....we already discussed this buddy

Wow, we've gone from "What is the fifth button?" to wiring diagrams...

I believe the question has been answered, and a whole slew of extraneous information volunteered.

is that considered an on topic hijack?

JDB... aren't you missing wires? I'm messing with a 3 button pod, and it has 8 wires going out into one connector. A-H

Correct. My diagram only shows what pertains to my neon switching and button illumination.

CC: in case you didn't know, the LEDs in the top three buttons need 3.6V, but the CCR LED'* have a resistor and can be run with 12v. I found this out by blowing my TC LED.

136k on the dial and my CCR is still operating. What am I doing wrong? (Or right, depending on how you look at it. :P ). Does there tend to be longer operation for those who leave it on performance or is there no correlation? And specifically what makes them fail?

Since its regarding the same topic I feel that it is ok that the question be posted here and to not flood the forum with too many threads.

Rudy asked what the button was. He didn't ask for pinouts or how to hook the button up to his neons. Those last two questions would be best asked in Everything Electronic.
