Default Code Reader for 94+?

How can I retreive error codes in my 94? I would really like to know if something is not working correctly, because as of right now I can't tell...but you never know. :?

I know you have the OBD I PCM but do you have the OBD I or OBD II connection? I think the last year to be able to jumper the connectors and retrieve the codes thru flashing SES lights was '93. You will need a scan tool that will match both you OBD PCM type and OBD connection type.

I actually picked up scan software from Data Ease that will allow me to scan my OBD I PCM thru the OBD II connector. The only downside is that I need a computer (such as a laptop) to read evertyhing.
