Well, the red piece has all the difractive stuff in it but my bulbs help to reflect some red back when a light is shined on them. The taillights shine brightly in all directions when lit up, so no worries there.
Altezza and other companies usually have a small red difractive piece that just barely covers the bulb, but return a bright red reflection when a headlight shines on them.

No F'in thanks, this one was bad enough. My next project is getting Trunk to cough up a motor. Which I guess means I'll have to shove one down his throat first!

Altezza is not a company, it'* the Toyota Altezza. Its a Lexus IS that'* about 20k in japan.

That would explain it. I did some checking, and couldn't find an "Altezza" brand light. Just others that used the term.
