I'd buy a brand new Dodge no problem. I know plenty of people who beat the living crap out of them and they're still going strong.

we got 2 2500 hemi'* at work, a 06 and 11, the 06 has had so many issues this year there gunna trade it in early. it goes though tires they cant figure that out, the fuse box has the like the dodge equivalent to the gm bcm under the fuses in the engine bay it goes every 4or 5 yrs at $800, the 1/2 tons have that too, it had the oil and trans pans rot through, the wheels fall completly off when your going down the road with little warning, probably other stuff im not thinking of right now,

even if they didnt have those issues they both ride like they have no springs, no exaggeration my f550 rides better than the 2011, the 06 is not as bad but no where near as good as the 2500hds we have

the 11 3/4 ton i drove had the hemi in it, tow mirrors, regular cab long bed, and 17'*

it truly was a very nice truck, but JW is right..maybe its my old warn out suspension on the mistress, but man that thing made my truck seem like a caddy..the 11 had a really strong suspension but there was no give to it..anything you hit you felt..it was ridiculous

still a very nice truck but not one im willing to pay 48k for..ill wait till it comes down to the 15k price tag in about 3-5 years LOL

I tend to be Chevy biased myself, wouldn't mind a Ford either. When it comes to Dodge, I give the designers (exterior) and marketing company all the credit. They are selling and have been selling the biggest piles of crap for years to people. And being that most people are home owners not using their truck for any real work.. Dodge is a great fit for them.

Power, fuel mileage, comfort etc. Well... then you aren't looking for a Dodge. I think it'* named perfectly though. If anyone is trying to give you a sublimial or obvious message, the name says it all. "DODGE"

In my honest opinion a truck is a truck, no matter the make or model. Trucks are made for work because if you use it for anything else your wasting alot of vehicle space in the truck bed. I only Buy GM vehicles because thats all I know. I have never owned Ford-Dodge. I stick with what I know even though I would love to own a Mustang- Saleen, Boss, GT-500 Shelby. The new trucks are nice but trucks just arent my flavor. Im very onesided, I only buy SUV'*, cars, and Sport bikes.
