Yea Warranty issues are as various as the state you live in (some like NY require it be shown an add on caused the damage a claim is based on) and the Dealer themselves (So many are out to make more than GM will pay) What sucks is your at the Service Desk and it'* you and the Service Manager/Adviser. And in "His house"...Not alot of instant "appeal process" and often you need the repair to keep moving.

He went to the stealership he bought the car from, so I guess they would tell them to buy their products.. I guess buying an expensive car from there isn't enough for them

Their products are usually just Corsa/Borla stuff with the car'* logo on it. I know the GMPP exhaust for my Avalanche was just a stamped Corsa exhaust.

After reading all the posts, maybe I better take a second look at Dodge trucks instead of just a perception/ pre-judgement in the back of my mind. Always thought they sold because of the grill and with options, often 1-2k less than a Chevy or Ford. This thread demonstrates that Dodges may be very good trucks.

Great Grandad had a 1940 Dodge Dually pickup (farm truck) that ran until his death in 1983. Had a little box of a bed, neat looking for a farm truck... Truck actually had a small footprint, very unlike today'* monster dually *.

My 94 Ram acts like it is never going to die. I truly believe the body is going to rust away from a still working drive train. And that is impossible to stop with any brand here with our half year winters and the salt laid down to combat it. I have become quite good at using Metal foil tape and matching paint everytime the inspection comes due. It covers alot of sin and hasn't ever been contested in an inspection. Every year I keep tearing of the old, putting on a little more new and hit with a spray can.

i wouldnt trade a mid 90'* dodge for any dodge after 99, they've got so many issues i dont even care to start. my dad had a 96 318 2wd for like 6 or 8 years rarely changed the oil or wash it or anything. they have a 28 ft camper and he drove it to work every day. besides normal wear stuff nothing ever happened it just started rotting and he traded it for a 04 gm. a couple years later we saw it still pulling a camper in a local campground.
