Thanks, I was just curious on it. THe truck did come from a junk yard, it was givin to me for free. Fynne thing is that before they loaded it to deliver it to me ( used a backoe/forklift yard machine) the truck was very driveable and was in great shape. now the driveshaft is bent and cab is all dented, but it is only a donner truck for my 69 pickup, and was completly free.

I guarantee the accident in 99 was in the left rear quarter panel. That'* where I have the rust. I bet it was fixed poorly. And there'* a crack underneath the wheel well. Sucks.

where'd you buy that GP? Ever cross check the engines vin vs the bodys vin? Any sheet metal the same color on the outside but diff underneath?

Well, it'* my mom'*, and I haven't spent much time around it. We thought all was well until her tail lights started fogging up and she took it to a mechanic who had to fix it several times. The last time she brought it back he told her that there were a couple of bends in the frame (not sure where) and that it looked like it had been straightened. I've never checked out the sheet metal, but I will soon (didn't even think of that 'till you said it ). She got it at a horrid dealership in Keene, NH (Fairfield'* Pontiac)...to anyone reading this, never go there. They treat you like a burden in both the service dept. and sales dept., rip you off, and with repairs they don't do the job right the first, second, or sometimes even third time! I'm so glad we're out of warranty because now we can go to our favorite dealership (a Chevy dealer, actually...Walier'* Chevrolet, also in Keene).

Anyway, I'll be interested to see the report on it.
