Hey, everyone! How many people would be interested in spending a whole lot of money on a true carbon fiber set of a hood and doors? Not only that, but for a 92-99 Bonneville! It'* not too bad, possibly in the quadruple digits for the hood if about 10 people care to pitch in. I'm trying to find some people to buy these parts with me so that I don't have to spend quintuple digits per part. This is most likely impossible, but so is me buying by myself. Let me know if you're interested in spending way too much money for weight savings.

You, have lost your mind............ Even with you paying the freight and providing the donor, it'* going to be $2-3k, and they arent going to care much if it'* 1-10-or 100. The mold is a very small part of costs.

For that price I think I would learn to do it myself.

Got to know people. Customs shops with ability always over manufacturers. My friend with an old school *-tpe jag got one for $1800. Thats unsanded, fresh out of the mold. Then the rest of the costs bring it up hard and heavy.

LOL that was for the hood, not all Rad. Doors They wont do, and I think problematic for a Bonneville.

I wouldn't consider it. My aluminum hood prolly weighs in the same, it wont crack or chip. Alot of that going on. Plus my hood is part of a $7K paint job.

The 92-99 Bonnevilles have some pretty beefy doors, though. Well, I'm still open to people chiming in on this. So far, no bites. I did tell the manufacturer it'* highly unlikely but that I'd get back to them about this should someone care to lose some wallet weight.

My buddy with the Jag was very dissapointed how it held up over a two year period. Started cracking where the hinges were from all the up and down of showing, and chips ultra easy on the highway. The shop reinforced the hinge areas underneath and marbleized it along with the rest of the car. You can still see it'* carbon fiber under the lighter parts of the marbeling.
