Default car is at the dealer

found what appears to be an oil leak, not %100 that its oil but its leaking quite a bit. I also told them to quote me on the pulley that is making quite a bit on noise, and the cost to flush the SC oil and refill. (was gonna do it but it like with a windchill out there of -15 C there is no way im going out to flush my oil)
So hopefully the call comes in later and the quote is not outta this world.....

sound too me like you may need to buy a new supercharger. My recommendation is to check out canadiansuperchargers.com if you need a new one. Brian hooked me up with a real good price of $442 US. He saved me about $300. All the other supercharger websites want 700 or so.

Is the oil leaking from the SC or is that a separate leak/area? As for the squeeky pulley, make sure it isn't the belt tensioner (idler pulley) as I mentioned in the SC thread. I had a dealer shop tell me that my SC was making noise and that I needed a new one. I didn't take their word for it and I checked it out myself. It is the belt tensioner. The guy was doing a free oil chang on my engine and assumed--with out verifying--that the slight noise he heard was comming from the SC. Just be careful not to be taken.

Default update

The leak turned out to be no big deal...just the cooler lines, so he tightened them and charged me 15 bucks for labor for that and then 44 bucks for labor for the SC oil change. And a couple bucks for the SC oil.... Id say that that was not bad. Thank God it was a minor thing so close to Christmas! And Im glad they didnt try to make more money off me ...that they most likely could have!
