General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Can anyone identify this sound? (I even made a video!)

this is for sure one of the wheel bearings.

To make sure it is in the front have someone ride in the trunk to check if it is coming from the back and believe me you will know it if it is the rear when you are in the trunk.

You also mention that your ainti-lock brake light is on so I bet it is one of the front bearings
and the best deal is on ebay because I bought both front ones brand new fo $79.00 delivered and they both have a year warranty just like the expensive ones at the autopart stores.

Just a bit of an update:

I replaced the front passenger side hub, so now the lights turned off (ABS, traction, service vehicle)

BUT, it still makes the noise. Is it possible that there'* another bad hub somewhere?

Sounds a little like my car, is it roaring like an airplane with loudness and pitch changing with speed?
