I did buy the car. The carfax was clean. I verified the RPO code, which appears to be 8555? From what I can tell this is indeed black.

Anyhow, that'* a good picture of the 'browning' going on. Perhaps there was a bad batch of paint in the factory, or the previous owner somehow damaged that section of the car?

some GXP'* had a thin paint problem. I wonder if that is your problem as well.

ahh it just looks like a bad repaint with non GM paint....some..wannabe black paint...i dunno..doesnt look authentic to me though
