ok so i found some pics and the bumper isnt nearly as far back as i thought it was, but i said IF i remember right, which i didnt.

id say the hitch may have helped out things some, but the overall important thing is that another family walked away from an accident because of a Bonneville.

As has been said, the Bonneville was rated very safe in crash tests. Just more real-life proof. And sad to see another one bite it.
