Tore the guts out of a PC power supply....just the main board. It'* hard to find one with enough power to drive a 4x40W receiver, but when you work for HP, you have access to awesome scrap bins! I think this one actually began life powering a Unix workstation. It'* 3.3 watts. The power antenna should overdrive it, but the Head unit goes through a diagnostic routine before the music starts....gives just enough time for the power antenna to go up. It'* not done, I still have to add a small 12V battery for the clock and preset memory, diode-protected from the main supply of course. Sometimes I even impress myself
