Has anyone noticed that on the 2000+ Bonnevilles when you put on the high beams that both the high beam, and the low beam bulbs are on? That is a very nice idea.. the high beams are superior on the 2000 compared to the old 95 we had. The road is illuminated excellently The DRL lights still confuse me though.. Sometimes it just turns on the parking lights, sometimes the low beams, and sometimes the high beams are on, just dimmed, or the fog lights are on... I figured the DRL lights would just illuminate just one bulb, like the low beams or something and leave those on, not switch between all the different lights.. The twilight sentinel is off too...

The DRL'* are low-output from the high-beams. As far as what comes on when twilight sentinel on:

DRL'*: On when car is in gear, off when put into park.
Parking lamps: On all the time while car is running.
Fog lamps: On all the time if switch is on.
Low beams: On (instead of DRL'*) when it is dark enough AND the car is in gear.
High beams: On when selected AND car is in gear. Note that fog lamps go out when high beams are on.

You can over-ride the twilight sentinel and keep the lights on all the time, like if you are checking to see if bulbs are out, etc.

Yep, there is a separate switch for the fog lamps. I forgot to mention that the low beams also come on during the day if the wipers are turned on (even if it is light out).
