i did a tune up on the ssei. it ran very good for about 70 miles. i was on the e-way when i noticed whenever i get the boost up to 0 it would start putting and jerking. i let off just a little so it goes just under 0 and its fine again. it seems to only happen when i get to 0 on the boost guage, or when i go to pass. i tried flooring it and it putted, jerked, then would be ok for a split second then putt, jerk, then ok. can anyone give me clue as to where the problem might be?
Me and a buddy just went through a similar problem (granted it was a Porsche) and like con10der said, check out your plug gaps. If they're just barely close enough after a little bit when the resistance rises it'll become just barely too far. Also like he said, check the wires. We had to build my buddies ourself but after spending a few minutes trying to figure out why one of the wires wasen't sending juice I started thinking about how many defective wires go out every day.
I'll third the motion. Ignition. Even too close a gap can cause this. It has nothing to do with boost. I bet if you had a scantool on there, your O2 would be reading normal until it starts. Then it'll go rich for the unburnt fuel from the lack of spark.
