Default Bonneville vs Civic Si??

Just a question for y'all. My friend has a 2000 Civic Si, everything is stock with a 5-speed. I must admit i love riding with him and i respect the power he'* got- nothing like powerslides around corners with all four wheels screaming. I'm impressed by his take-off too, and he would never think of putting a fart can or wing on it.....

So how do you think his car would match up with my '94 SSEi? I don't have any mods on mine yet. I wanted to get some but i just spent $1700 at the dealer fixing ABS problems which were all unexpected. BTW the dealer really screwed me over so stay away from Covington Buick in Silver Spring MD...but that'* another story.

I THINK my friend said he has like 160 hp or something(?) What do you guys think of a matchup? I believe it is almost inevitable that we'll try someday....

If you are rolling in a 94 SSEi, then you're packin 225HP and 275 ft-lbs of torque.

He has what? 160, and a lighter car...I think you'd still take it

Well I don't have any advice on the si question but I could advise a better dealer. Try Burdette Brothers Pontiac near Clarksburg, MD just off of 355. It might be a little far for you but it might be worth it. I have been buying cars from them and having them work on them for over 11 years, and they are an hour away from me. They are real nice and their techs are real sharp. I think Nytro67 will back me up on this, he brings his car there too.

Good luck!

Any idea what the torque differenc is? I bet the SSEi will crush the Si in that figure.

Yeah that should be an easy one. Even if he has V-tech or dual stage runners or sake powered engine.
