hmm... i thought you went away....
What? it was a correct comment based entirely on the topic at hand and my experience with both cars at the track, but I bet if I chimed in with (my SSEI ate a C5, or my beater 95 SE smokes modded GT'*) that would have been ok, because it was about A Bonneville. Jesus Christ! why dont you just block everyone'* IP that has a GP, I'm not here to argue with you, so move along and find someone else to stalk.

The whole point of this thread was a reflection of sibling rivalry of 2 brothers, one drives a very nice 2001 or (whatever SE) and his kid brother drives a 99 GP GT, and apparently his Bonne kicked his GP *** a few times.

Now, the great thing about Kill Stories is that we loosely talk about runnin around town exposing idiots to what a sleeper car can really do. Doesn't matter if its a GP, or Civic or whatever....

That being said, your attitude towards us singling out GP'* in narrow minded and naive...so lay off.

why dont you just block everyone'* IP that has a GP, I'm not here to argue with you, so move along and find someone else to stalk.
And Boat, he has a point....please don't insult, GTX is one of our members. Any furthur flaming or insulting isn't going to fly :?

True this thread was about two brothers running each other and now it seems to have taken on a new twist. If my earlier comment insulted anyone I do appologies for it. I too own a GP and Bonnie SE circa 1998 for both. Sytock for stock the GP was faster by about 2 tenths in the quarter mile. So it comes down to a drivers race really. My comment about running me here in Texas was all in fun. Currently I'm moding the GP and it runs nice at this point. In six months the Bonnie will be paid for. It then will get a cam as opposed to rockers. Togs as opposed to ZZP ported manifolds. Get the picture? The GP is my tesat and tune beta car. The Bonnie will be the real battle sleeper. Fo sho baby

I do like both cars to be sure .

In my opinion

Take a 99 SSEi and a 99 GTP. And make the EXACT same mods....no differences whatsoever.

The GTP is faster....

Mechanically if both cars are bone stock, with no SC, it comes down to drivers and that 5 extra HP that the Bonnie gets....sounds simple to me :?

Oh and Bigfunky...I doubt anyone was insulted..your insights are most welcome around these parts

Me too! I remember going on this strip on the North Side of Chicago on this street called Devon between Pulaski Rd and Cicero. I drove my aunts GP GT and my friend drove my black SSE. I took of a lil faster in my aunts car, but my car damn near blew my aunts doors off in the long run I will never forget that day. IMy head was in the sky for a month thinking that I had the fastest car on earth. Thats why I would mind getting another SSE 97-99. But I want a Series II SC or a Series I with the 225hp-275 torque.
