Very nice kill..i wonder why you beat him that badly. I'm not doubting your car in anyway, but it'* just the fact that you both have identical engines..and maybe he'* lighter a bit. I take it you have some engine mods??

Currently I own both a 1998 Bonnie SE and a 1998 GP SE/3.8lt. The GP is only slightly faster even with the U-bend and resonator removed by about .089 in the 1/4 mile. So in your case it came down to skill and the one advantage a Bonnie does have ........ being a bit heavier, you won't spin the tires quite as much as a GP will on launch. This gets that big body rolling slightly faster than a GP. The GP will, however eat you up by the time you go about 330 feet. I've noticed that my 60 foot times are about the same,(edge to the GP by .150'ish). Your lauch will have much to do with your win along with your reaction time. All this to say good kill. Once you start Modding though; the GP will win more and more because you'll make simular power and the GP'* weight will be lighter. Still an excellent kill though.

We both did floor it and he kept up good for the first couple second but in the long run (after about 1 block) I killed his ***. Taking the fact that his car is lighter I think it just came down to that I'm a better driver then he is. So one word again sums it up............................

I would like to begin this reply by saying a Grand Prix is NOT a lady'* car. At least not to me, and I'm a lady so I think I can say I'm a good judge on that. :P
Next...I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who notices the bad mouthing and trash talking on Club GP. Oh yea that one was for Boseman because I "always talk trash about them" LOL

That'* why you won, LOL! The weights of the cars were equal, or the GP had more weight!

The guy wants to race agian? Watch out that he don't try and do a lil race prep before you run. Are you guys running a straight run? If so you might want to race prep yourself. I'm lerry of any guy who'* been handed his *** once who come back for more so soon afterwards. :?
