I have just found an extremly disturbing post on clubgp. They are saying the Bonneville is going to be cut for '04!! one guy even said he heard that from a reliable source...and get this...

Uh oh... this means they could mark the GP WAAAAAAAY up when the Bonnie is gone and the GP could grow huge and take it'* place... that would suck. Or perhaps like Olds, Pontiac will no longer offer a gigantic luxury sedan.

Hmm, but what about that new Bonneville G/XP? I can't believe they'd bring that out and then cut the line...

they CAN'T cut it...i won't LET them.(somehow)

If you look at the reasoning it makes alot of sense your mad and probably a lot more people are too, but the only way to get people to notice is to say awwww were gonna cut it. Both the Bonneville and the GP have been around for a long time and they each are a valued unit. I think both need a v8 option. But as it stands the Bonneville I have will have a v8 I don’t know if you could fit an 8 in a GP. I doubt it.

Please don't dig up old old threads, especially one that went back 25+ years
