it is still a 60/40 setup...I zoomed in on the pic, there is no crease in between the middle and driver. It just has the bucket shape, not so much of a flat shape.

I really like my 60/40 cloth bench seats. The 60 driver'* seat is a *really big* seat. I wish the 40 passenger seat had the same power controls as the driver seat. I think it was available as an option, but I haven't actually ever seen a power 40 seat.

Even though it is a "split bench" seat, it does have good bolsters on the sides, so it is not unlike a very large bucket seat, in a way.

I don't like leather seats. Hot in summer, cold in winter. My Dad always had big cadillacs and I just remember sliding around in the back at every turn. Cloth please!

I've always been a leather avoider as well. My bonnies happened to come with it. I'm already thinking seat warmers...

I like my couch seats really nice for long drives. I wonder if the ever came in leather like that. Not that I would want them like that

The 55/45 split bench seats only came in cloth, but a friend of mine had all of the cloth upholstery in his Toyota 4Runner completely re-done in leather, and you'd never know it wasn't factory. So I'm convinced that any decent upholstery shop could do up a cloth interior to leather conversion no big deal, it would just be a matter of cost. Oh yeah, and I prefer cloth.

I have the "Couch" also. While i would probably rather have the buckets, with the floor shift, the couch type seats are still unbelievably comfy.

9 seat switches would also be pretty cool. I remember when i first got into my uncles SSEi before i could ever drive, or before i knew what a bonneville was , i was amazed at those nine switches. I couldnt believe any car actually had something like that. He then proceeded to "Burn Out" which i had also never expierienced before, dont even remember the power it had now, but id sure like to give it a run of my own after owning my bonneville.

Yeah, I went from cloth to leather and back to cloth. I don't mind it so much...it'* warmer when it should be and cooler when it needs to be. I don't think leather in a bench would be a good idea-take a turn just right and you might slide over into the passenger side.
