Now the wife is saying she wants to stay in north carolina because she doesn't want to keep moving the kids to different schools and she has a good point, but i want to be able to see my kids cause I don't know when I'm going to iraq agian and i've already been away from them this long (since january). Does me asking her to move to ft lewis sound like a bad idea and am i just being selfish? She is actually due in on wednesday here in korea so we can spend some time together w/out the kids for the first time in 9 yrs and i think i'm going to open my mouth and ruin her stay, but this is a real big issue to me. Normally i don't discuss my personal life online, but i'm really worried about this. Either way, the bonny is going to be with me, but I'd rather have my kids there. The bonny is like mine and my sons car cause everything that has been done to it, he has been there for also helping me turn the wrench'*. So doing anything with the bonny wouldn't feel the same. If i had known moving her home with her parents while i'm here was going to make her want to stay i would have never agreed to it.

the only thing i can say with out taking sides is communication is the key with that being said

Cliff,

The Seattle area is BEAUTIFUL, and a great place for kids. The schools are good. She might actually enjoy herself there.

I would just talk to her about it and state your case. She loves you and should be willing to move to where you will be. Life is too short and she needs to cherish any time she has with you. The kids will make the adjustment fine.
