autotap
has anyone had any dealings with or used the autotap computer software obd11 reader www.autotap.com and if so what are your thoughts on this product . Ive been looking at it for a couple of years now . its on sale now for about 100$ it was up around 400$

What is it your looking for? Something that can scan enhanced codes? Log data, things like that? There are some PC based programs that work very well. I used autoengineuity for a while. Not a bad program. I'm not using HP tuners VCM suite, a higher price, but very well worth it.

This scanner is about the best around, http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmscanner.php however it is $350.

Another option I'm looking in to right now is a Android app called torque. It'* $4.95 and you only need a bluetooth/OBD2 plug. I just picked one up from Ebay for $21.99 shipped.

thanxs for the your input > i just ordered the autoenegineuity , as it will do alot more than the autotap will do . and only a few $ more . I'll be able to read all 4 ob11'* systems codes .
